About Marwa Koheji
Marwa Koheji is an anthropologist and Visiting Assistant Professor of Humanities at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). Her work brings together historical and ethnographic approaches to examine energy infrastructures in Bahrain and their socio-political dimensions. She is currently developing a book manuscript on cooling infrastructures in Bahrain. Her research has been published in academic journals, including Cultural Anthropology and Engineering Studies. She has also published her work through cultural and public-facing outlets, including the Venice Architecture Biennale (2023) and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa).
